This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Payroll Manager ready to step into a more senior role with a leader in the field. You’ll take charge of end-to-end payroll operations, overseeing processes from onboarding to terminations, managing month-end obligations, preparing reports, and leading a team of four. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to contribute to several exciting projects within the first 6–12 months. This all-encompassing payroll role works closely with and supports the People & Culture team. The Challenge Reporting to the General Manager, People Culture, you will be responsible for the timely weeklyand monthly payroll process for more than 1,300 staff. This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment and your duties will include the following: Team management of 4 – support, training and development The seamless delivery of compliant and accurate weekly & monthly payrolls Completing legislative requirements including PAYG, Payroll Tax Superannuation and WorkCover Working alongside the P&C, Finance, management and staff regarding all payroll related matters Calculating and maintaining leave balances Interpreting and applying awards and contracts Preparing detailed payroll records, reports and documents for Finance and Operations Assisting with end of month, end of year processes Design and implement improvements to payroll systems, working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
