About the Role
Based in Townsville, you will be working with a highly skilled team performing installation, commissioning, service, and remediation of Security systems across Regional Queensland.
A proven ability of technical skills and experience is preferred in installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and remediation ideally working with alarm systems, access control, CCTV, and associated systems. You will be committed to providing high levels of customer service, well organised, able to work autonomously, and plan your own workload accordingly.
Responsibilities:
* Installation, servicing & maintenance of electronic security systems and equipment.
* Be on a rostered on-call after hours service.
Experience and Knowledge Requirements:
* A high level of competence in IT-based applications and hardware (preferred)
* Understanding of Cloud technology (preferred but not necessary)
* The availability to participate in an on-call roster
* It would be highly regarded if you also had experience in Data / electrical cabling
Qualification Requirements:
* Current Drivers licence (mandatory)
* Possession of, or ability to obtain a QLD Security licence
* Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Cabler registration
* EWP licence or High-Risk licence (preferred or the ability to obtain)
* Trade certificate in Data, Voice & Communications or similar (preferred)
* Possession of, or ability to obtain, an Australian Department of Defence NV1 security clearance
