We are seeking a Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow to join the School of Public Health and Social Work, Faculty of Health.We are seeking an experienced Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow to provide a range of research activities that support AusHSI in its mission. The appointee will work with other AusHSI researchers to provide implementation science research support for a suite of academic and clinical research projects (including those funded by category 1 grants) and research consultancies focusing on innovation, implementation, and evaluation within health services, often in collaboration with health service partners. Composed of internationally leading health service and implementation research experts, health economists, and statisticians, AusHSI integrates research findings into policy and practice and helps make changes that result in greater efficiencies and improved patient outcomes.What you need to succeedLevel B (Research Fellow)Completion of a doctorate, PhD or Masters qualification in health services research or a closely related field (e.g. implementation science, occupational therapy, social sciences, public health, nursing, psychology).Demonstrated experience conducting and organising field work.Demonstrated experience conducting context assessments, process evaluations, implementation evaluations (e.g. hybrid effectiveness implementation studies).Demonstrated experience conducting mixed or multiple methods, and qualitative analyses including use of Excel, Word and/or NVivo and experience conducting robust context mapping and knowledge of a range of methodologies for doing this.Demonstrated experience working in group settings and/or as part of a cross-organisational or inter-organisational team.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively - in writing and in person - about research findings to a range of audiences.Level C (Senior Research Fellow)Completion of a PhD in health services research or a closely related field (e.g. implementation science, occupational therapy, social sciences, public health, nursing, psychology).Demonstrated experience conducting and organising field work.Demonstrated experience conducting context assessments, process evaluations, implementation evaluations (e.g. hybrid effectiveness implementation studies).Demonstrated experience conducting mixed or multiple methods, and qualitative analyses including use of Excel, Word and/or NVivo and experience conducting robust context mapping and knowledge of a range of methodologies for doing this.Demonstrated experience working in group settings and/or as part of a cross-organisational or inter-organisational team and with people with lived experience.Demonstrated track record of scholarly and professional achievement in a discipline relevant to the role.Life at QUTWe're committed to building a culture that fosters connection between people and purpose.
