About the role:
End-to-end accounts receivables and payables processes, which includes using Xero for creating purchase orders, collating invoices for approval, entering invoices, statement reconciliations and processing payments.
Managing all aspects of payroll, tax, superannuation and employee entitlements using Xero.
Maintaining financial accuracy, including data entry, calculations, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Review creditor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintaining supplier and asset registers.
Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure company accounts remain up to date and free of constraints at all times.
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
Monitor and process shared accounts email boxes, phone calls and inquiries related to accounts.
Complete credit account applications when required.
Manage and organise digital files and records efficiently.
Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as required, showing a willingness to learn and contribute.
Requirements for this role:
A minimum of 3 years previous experience in accounts and payroll administration roles, with demonstrated ability to efficiently and accurately process accounts.
A relevant qualification in accounting, finance or business administration.
Sound knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and practices.
High level of problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Must be competent in computer and digital device skills with proficiency in accounting software program Xero, Hubdoc, and MS Office applications.
High level of verbal and written communication skills.
Must be fit for work.
Must be able to pass a National Criminal History Check.
Must pass a medical and drug test.

This is an office based role, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
