Job Summary
This is an opportunity to work as a Chef in our catering and hospitality services team. You will be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious meals for students, cooking in bulk quantities, and contributing to menu ideas using local ingredients.
The Position
* Prepare and cook meals for students in a school setting
* Cooking, washing dishes, and cleaning the kitchen
* Contribute to menu ideas using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
* Monitor stock levels and minimize waste
* Adhere to high standards of hygiene and food safety
The Person We Are Looking For
* Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery qualification
* Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain
* Experience cooking in bulk quantities
* Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
* Possesses a passion for healthy and nutritious food
* Comfortable interacting with customers
