Our client launched this highly successful contemporary designer label in 15 years ago in Melbourne and took it to incredible success in the US. Collections that have been developed under the eponymous Creative Director with skilled construction and a focus on developing untold levels of confidence in women.
They have a thriving international wholesale channel – with a predominant US customer base. We are searching for a driven and hungry Wholesale professional excited to grow their career with a wildly successful RTW brand.
The Role |
Reporting to the Wholesale Operations Manager and working in a wider Wholesale Operations team - this role will support the wholesale function to deliver the sales plan through efficient shipping of orders to local and international wholesale partners, management of the overall logistics effort required fulfil the sales order book, and general support to the sales team as required to drive sell-through and provide clarity on sales forecasts.
The role’s key responsibility is working with the sales teams to ensure the quick and efficient fulfilment of orders for all global customers. This will include:
1. Pre-season launch preparation to ensure all required details updated in the order book and to inform the sales team where further information required
2. Liaise with Accounts to understand finance position for each accounts
3. Allocation of warehouse stock to wholesale orders to ensure availability for shipping
4. Liaising with customers to arrange collection, agree on delivery etc
5. Supporting with online customer queries alongside of wholesale customers
6. Liaising with the warehouse to help prioritise orders and maximise efficient shipment of orders
7. React quickly to in-season orders collected by the sales team
8. ·Reconciliation of returns approved by sales team and received into warehouse
9. Supporting preparation of rolling shipping forecast based on available stock, finance issues and specific knowledge of accounts
10. Attendance and participation in weekly trading meetings to provide insight into shipping performance and forecast
11. Support with coordination and execution of campaign photoshoots
The Skillset |
We imagine you will have strong logistics, administration or operations background, or be a current Wholesale Operations Executive in a fashion brand.
12. Experience with international wholesale operation and logistics, with an understanding of 3rd party warehouse operations. Fashion experience essential
13. A high level of organisational skill with the ability to multi-task and see activities through to completion to a high standard
14. Renowned for your accuracy and attention to detail and capable of reacting flexibly to different requirements for multiple accounts and regions
15. Exceptional customer service capability - you believe in going the extra mile to support your customers
16. A strong team player, capable of working with others to get the job done and willing to step outside core role to help the broader team
17. Excellent communication skills, ability to establish and develop rapport with key stakeholders, both internal and external
18. Strong level of IT technical skills, particularly Excel and Enterprise systems
19. Enthusiastic and dedicated, passion for seeking opportunities and self-development
