About the Project:
WeBuild, as a D&C Contractor member, is working on a landmark metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.
This city-shaping project will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney and will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the supplier qualification process, coordinating with the Procurement Manager to verify vendor list coverage for each product class.
* Analyse vendor rating reports and prepare corrective plans and actions to guarantee compliance with contractual obligations and maintenance of service levels.
* Support supplier/contractor relations management activities.
Requirements:
* Tertiary degree in Commerce or similar field.
* Minimum 3 years' experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role.
* Experience working on large-scale construction projects or other suitable projects.
Skills:
* Sound knowledge of construction materials and strong experience within the heavy construction industry.
* Excellent usage of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Problem-solving attitude, being proactive and flexible.
