The Role
The role will act as the key liaison between the Woolworths Category Management and Supply Chain Management teams and the production teams, to ensure the successful scheduling and delivery of goods. The role is highly accountable for driving a collaborative relationship between internal and external stakeholders and ensuring the most cost-effective production of finished goods.
While previous experience in the FMCG industry is advantageous it is not essential. This role is well suited to someone with experience in high-volume planning including backgrounds in transport, logistics and shipping.
Your primary duties will include:
1. Collaboration with Woolworths Category Management & Supply Chain Management teams i.
2. Demand & Supply Plan into Customised Order Plan.
3. Proactively manage and track - oversell & undersell on promotions.
4. Maintain appropriate stock level across the chain. End to End.
5. Analyse and report on KPIs including; DIFOT (Delivery in Full and on time), outbound OBSL (Outbound Service Levels) data integrity
6. Provide production with delivery schedule. Inline with Woolworths sales forecast. (Demand Planning).
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications
7. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a replenishment/inventory role
8. Understanding of demand and supply chain systems and processes
9. Organisational and time management skills
10. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
11. Strong analytical skills
12. Proactive, positive attitude and a 'can do' attitude
13. Excellent Microsoft excel skill, including pivot tables
14. Excellent computer skills – outlook, word, power point
15. Excellent communication and relationship building skills
16. MFG Pro experience would be beneficial but not essential
17. The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise
