As a Leading Hand you will be responsible for the completion of the project on or under time, whilst ensuring a safe site is maintained and a quality product is constructed for delivery to the client.
Projects will include minor civil infrastructure works and urban development projects.DutiesThorough understanding of OHS and environmental requirementsArrangement of Plant, Labour and material resources for projectDirection and monitoring of Sub-Contractors, Suppliers and plant hirersControl of survey requirementsDaily monitoring of activity costsMonitor compliance with safety and environmental requirementsMaintain compliance with construction programReport all non-conformances and assist recommendations for remedial workMaintain daily record of site activitiesEnsure clients' quality expectations are being met/exceeded (in accordance with spec)Skills and qualificationsCertificate III in Civil ConstructionProven leadership skillsHave a thorough knowledge of the drawings, specifications and quality requirements for all site related activitiesMust have experience in minor civil infrastructure works and/or urban development projectsStrong sense of teamworkProven ability to constantly deliver high quality construction projects within budget and program constraintsHave experience in shoringPipelaying experience is highly regarded.Due to the high volume of applications and enquiries, we are only able to respond to shortlisted candidates.#J-18808-Ljbffr
