We are looking for a high performing and self-motivated Technical Project Manager to join us on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role sits within Australian & United Kingdom Digital Services team and supports our Charity Partnerships in the smooth operation & delivery of market-leading digital solutions, applications, and microsites for our Charity Partners.
Client facing Agile Project Management (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) and digital services delivery experience (Software Development Life-Cycle — SDLC), preferably in a digital agency environment is essential. Experience working in consultancy and sales is also high on our wish list.
For this position, we expect you to be tech-savvy with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help our customers to achieve their business goals.
About the role
1. Management of a large migration projects for one of our key Digital Services clients, working with our internal development and product teams on ensuring the successful delivery of the scope of works.
2. Daily management of our Third-Party Agency development team.
3. Create and manage project backlogs using our preferred project management tools.
4. Continuously drive efficiency across all areas of development and project management.
5. Ensure projects are scoped and executed appropriately for our AU/NZ customers, to agreed timeframes and in line with budget.
6. Use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams across the business on new initiatives, problem solving and the delivery of solutions to our customers.
Required skills
7. Proven track record in Project Management with experience dealing with multiple internal and external stakeholders and managing projects.
8. Solid understanding of Agile & software development lifecycle (SDLC).
9. Hands-on experience with Project Management software (Smartsheet, AzureDevOps or Jira, MS Project, etc.)
10. Ability to provide product and technical consultancy to customers.
11. Experience in SaaS products and Internet-based solutions.
12. Proficient in scoping and designing bespoke solutions and producing detailed Product/Project Backlogs, project schedules and Statements of Work (SOW).
13. Familiarity with Content Management systems and HTML/CSS.
14. A natural communicator who leads through influence, not authority.
15. Experience using visual design software (Photoshop, Sketch, InVision, etc.) and flowchart tools (Lucidchart, Visio, etc.) for visually communicating business requirements and user journeys: mock-ups, wireframes, use case & sequence diagrams.
16. Familiarity with APIs (services-oriented system architecture).
