About the role The position will be designated one of the key stakeholders with the aim to advance the recommendations of the RCVMHS in Eastern region of Victoria (Monash and Gippsland areas), through provision of clinical support, education and engagement. The goal of these activities will be to grow stakeholder’s clinical staff capacity to manage co-occurring disorders. Co-location with stakeholder agency will be the preferred mode of service delivery. About you To be successful in this role you will possess: • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency • At least 4 years’ experience working in the AOD/mental health sector as a nurse consultant • Post graduate qualifications in AOD/MH • Willingness to implement a hybrid (F2F or virtual) model of care where indicated • Certificate IV in AOD or evidence of working towards its attainment • Presentation experience • Experience in implementing new projects and stakeholder engagement • Demonstrated understanding of Harm Minimisation and Recovery Frameworks within the context of the alcohol and drug sector • A strong commitment to high quality care • The ability to work as part of a diverse team • Excellent communication and organisational skills Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
