This role involves overseeing the coaching and training of netball teams across various age groups, designing effective practice sessions, and fostering a positive and inclusive culture.As the Head of Netball at Toorak College, you will:Program Leadership: Implement and oversee the development and coordination of the school's netball program for Primary and Secondary students, ensuring it aligns with school values and goals.Team Management: Coach and mentor high-level netball teams across various age groups, fostering skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.Training and Development: Plan and execute effective practice sessions that build players' skills, strategies, and physical fitness.Player Development: Support each player’s individual growth, identifying strengths and areas for improvement, and providing constructive feedback.Competition Coordination: Organise and manage participation within the GSV competition, school competitions, matches, and tournaments, ensuring teams are prepared and equipped.Community Engagement: Promote a positive culture within the netball community, encouraging student and family involvement in school sports.The majority of work will take place during the netball season, operating over Terms 2 and 3, with some preparatory administration during Terms 1 and 4.
