ABOUT THE ROLE
We are on the lookout for a hands-on Property Manager Operations (PMO) to join and lead our Western Sydney University team through the provision of leadership and strategic guidance across Hawkesbury, Penrith, Nirimba, and Campbelltown. Working alongside another PMO, you will share responsibility for the management and financial performance of the properties. You will play a key role in:
* Maintaining the property to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation
* Nurture key stakeholder relationships as part of a team
* Optimise the financial return, and the overall financial performance of the property as outlined in the Financial Model/Budget
* Be thoroughly familiar with our Operating Agreements and to manage the property as per the management agreement and all associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Aid in the preparation of the budget
* Resolve issues effectively and efficiently and apply effective incident management, including grievances and conflict resolution.
* Provide overall leadership, guidance, and direction to develop a team of high performing staff
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
* A proactive go-getter who can handle the hustle
* Demonstrated experience in property or building management
* Experience in the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) or hospitality sector
* Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team
* Someone who enjoys problem solving, and ideally experience in incident management
* A master multi-tasker with great organisational skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with computer literacy of a high standard
* Valid National Police Check (completed within last 3 months), at your own cost
* Working with Children Check – New South Wales
* Unrestricted work rights in Australia
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate – or willing to obtain
