Job Description

What you’ll do:
Working in our very own Resort restaurant, you will provide exceptional service with a warm welcome. Our on-site cafe offers a delicious menu of innovative food at reasonable prices. Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the cafe is fully licensed, offers an a la carte & takeaway menu and wine list that is sure to please all palates and cater for all budgets.
We pride ourselves on excellent guest services and ensuring our guests have the best memorable holiday experience! Under the direction of the Head Chef, you will be responsible for kitchen management including portion and stock control and for the supervision and training of other kitchen staff as required. Shifts will predominantly be to fulfill evening service.
What you’ll bring:
* A qualification in commercial cookery, or applicable trade testing.
* A working understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safety.
* Experience in ordering and stock control.
* Willingness to be part of a greater team and jump in to assist the team and lead from the front.
* A passion for your trade and for creating and presenting contemporary dishes using local produce.
* Demonstrated excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
* The ability to work productively in a fast-paced, buzzing work environment, dealing with a high volume of covers in times of peak demand or in servicing group bookings.
