Reporting to the Supply Chain & Operations Manager, the Customer Service Officer will work in a team as one of the primary contacts with Lallemand Animal Nutrition internal and external customers. The successful candidate for this position will be ready to learn about exceptional communication skills, how to promote good relations with colleagues, and how to provide the best customer experience possible.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Coordinate the collection and processing of sales orders;Placement of sales orders with the warehouse(s) in a timely manner to allow for prompt dispatch & delivery;Handle phone calls and emails from internal and external customers inquiries including tracking deliveries, compiling and sending customers welcome packs;Complete stock reconciliations;Consolidate customer complaints information and pass issues to senior team members;Support administrative tasks, including data entry;Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.Technical skillsRequiredA school leaver with a keen interest in customer serviceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAn assetMicrosoft OfficePersonal abilitiesRequiredMust be able to work both as a team player and possess excellent communication skills - both oral and written, attention to detail with high accuracy.Data entry accuracyA positive attitude and willingness to learnGeneral criteriaRequiredMust be able to work in the office - this is not a WFH position.OrganizationLallemand is a privately held Canadian company founded in the late 19th century, which develops, produces, and markets microorganisms for various markets.
