The Treasury Business Change Team has the responsibility to ensure that any change initiatives affecting Treasury are effectively delivered. This is achieved by embedding a strong governance and structured framework to deliver sustainable business change and projects with strategic outcomes from a system and operating model perspective.
The Role
We have 2 exciting opportunities and Previous Treasury experience is essential - as a Senior Business analyst you will be required to:
1. Assess and document the Current and Future states of business functions and processes to identify and recommend improvements, including application of User and customer journeys.
2. Support the project delivery / scrum team to break down work and translate requirements into functional specifications using appropriate methods (e.g. backlog creation, user stories, user journey mapping, etc.).
3. Identify relevant stakeholders, select appropriate techniques and processes to derive and manage requirements.
4. Lead requirements elicitation, including workshops to capture user stories. Constructively challenge stated user stories/requirements.
5. Articulate User stories and communicate business and customer value to the project delivery / scrum team. Help establish success criteria.
6. Define problems and opportunities. Perform data analysis that can be used to support or challenge business initiatives; and achieve desired customer outcomes.
7. Work with stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns, and their operating environment to define clear problem statements.

Technical skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team.
1. Experience with converting business needs into functional designs using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architecture.
2. Effective Presentation Skills and stakeholder management.
3. Ab initio background is regarded.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Experience with data aggregation, standardization, linking, quality check mechanisms, and reporting.
6. Experience in handling large volumes of data.
7. Experience in writing complex queries in Oracle and MSSQL.
8. Experience in working in Agile teams, including working closely with internal business stakeholders.
