The Theatre Department has a permanent part-time position available for a Perioperative Nurse to join the Ophthalmology Scrub Scout team at a private hospital on the Sunshine Coast. ABOUT THE ROLE This job offers the successful candidate 48 hours per fortnight, working alongside the supportive and diverse team in the two-theatre plus procedure room department. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
1. Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
2. At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in an acute setting;
3. Recent experience working as a Scrub Scout Registered Nurse, Ophthalmology Scrub Scout nursing experience is essential;
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
5. Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required;
6. The successful candidate must have ophthalmology experience to be considered.

REMUNERATION
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $40.47 - $52.19 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital, located on the Sunshine Coast, is a modern, 76-bed health care facility providing a broad range of medical and surgical services. The Hospital houses two state-of-the-art operating theatres, surgical and medical wards, day surgery services, specialised renal dialysis unit, a day infusion unit, an oncology ward, a rehabilitation unit, and day rehabilitation.
