Shift pattern: Monday - Friday rotational Afternoon (2pm start) and Night shift (11pm start)Location: Normanton, WF6 1TFDHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Driver Development Assessor to play a vital role to ensure our drivers receive thorough training and support to ensure they are safe and compliant.WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? Working closely with internal colleagues to ensure we train our drivers to be efficient, safe and customer focused in line with DHL policies and procedures.To train, assess and complete driver re-assessments in line with DHL's policies and procedures.Support the driver assessment/recruitment process as required.Carry out targeted assessments with drivers to encourage driver improvements.WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.Previous experience of working within a transport operation in a similar role would be preferred.Excellent communication skills with the ability to build a strong rapport with the drivers and office team.IT Literate with experience using Microsoft Office is essential.
