The Opportunity The HR Officer works in conjunction and shares responsibility with the HR Advisor in owning key Human Resources processes such as Recruitment, Employee Recognition and Retention, Policy Management and Review, Process Improvement and General Administration.?You will work with internal and external stakeholders, including members of the leadership team to provide HR advice and support.? Key Responsibilities include; Accurately and efficiently perform general HR administrative duties. Maintain accurate employee employment records. Creation and management of new employee paperwork and onboarding into the HRIS. Creation and distribution of regular HR-related internal communications. Assist when required with payroll administration. Liaise with payroll responsible person to address payroll related queries. Ad hoc administration duties as required. Manage the recruitment process for new hires into the business alongside hiring managers. Ensure accurate and current job descriptions are created and maintained. Develop, drive, and implement talent, attraction, and selection initiatives. Support HR Manager with the creation, review, and implementation of the annual Employee Engagement survey. Assist in identifying training needs and developing training programs. Assist HR Advisor in ensuring that appropriate policies and procedures exist, are up to date and in line with relevant legislation. Develop new policies and review policies and procedures annually. Assisting and participating when required in employee meetings e.g., disciplinary, performance, mediation. Regular travel to interstate branches to support teams, maintain relationships and deliver initiatives. Supporting the business with HRIS (currently Employment Hero) queries and requests.
