With regular year-on-year sales growth and an expanding product portfolio, we are wanting to increase our sales force to assist in achieving our projected sales growth in the future.The RoleAs Territory Sales Manager, your role is responsible for driving sales, building strong, sustainable relationships and to create new business across the ruminant product range throughout Central Queensland.Managing your territory, the role requires you to travel extensively and at times work additional hours during weekends.In reward for your outstanding contribution, you will enjoy being a part of a dynamic and welcoming team, that offers a great company culture, excellent remuneration and a company car.Your duties will include (but not be limited to):Deliver budgeted sales target for the territoryCreate sustainable new business in the territoryPreparation of business plan for the territoryWork to meet or exceed goals, ensuring delivery with efficiency and effectivenessUnderstand your customer base and their needs while responding to their requirements in an efficient and timely mannerCollect accurate client information and create strategies to improve outcomesDevelop strong and loyal customer relationships with stockfeed companies, nutritionists, consultants, veterinarians and farmersOrganise and attend promotional field days, seminars, conferences and eventsComplete in field training on nutrition, animal health and key selling points of productsCommunicate with other sales team membersSkills & ExperienceThe ideal candidate has a Tertiary Qualification, a minimum of three to five years in agricultural sales or a related field. Candidates with knowledge in animal health or nutrition products within the ruminant market are highly regarded. A strong farming background would be beneficial.An outstanding communicator, you will be professional and well-presented and able to effectively negotiate and manage strong relationships with clients and team members. Equipped with excellent leadership skills, you are an influential and authentic operator who has great problem solving, time and budget management skills.The successful candidate will relish being part of a successful team and have a positive attitude to the job. To be considered for the role, it's important you can prove your capability with the following:Tertiary Qualifications, preferably in Agriculture or ScienceMinimum 3 - 5 years' experience in agricultural salesProven ability to develop target markets, design and execute sales programsA skilled negotiator who shows great initiativeExceptional leadership and communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to work autonomouslyWell-presented, flexible, honest and professionalExcellent relationship, planning and time management skills, including attention to detailHigh level analytical abilities and a strong ability to influence othersDemonstrated ability to maintain targeted key relationshipsValid Driver's License (essential)Must be prepared to undertake extensive drivingProficient in Microsoft applicationsThe right to live and work in AustraliaRemuneration and LocationA highly attractive remuneration package that includes salary, superannuation, car, mobile phone and laptop will be negotiated to attract the right person for this role. The preferred location is in Central QLD.
