Vestas have an exciting role available for ANZ HSE Manager - Construction.As the successful candidate you will be managing all HSE representatives throughout our Australian and New Zealand projects. The department is committed to ensuring that all ANZ onshore construction projects meet the HSE standards by providing HSE resources to the site together with the operation team.It actively prevents the occurrence of accidents and injuries, as well as protects the environment from potential hazards through formulating and implementing strict HSE policies and procedures. Responsibilities As the ANZ HSE Lead to oversee projects HSE management in ANZ.Implement APAC construction tactical plan. People management of ANZ HSE team. Establishment of safety policies, procedures and plans to ensure the safety of workers at the workplace. Contribute to a positive working environment on the project by being an open and positive go-to person and by being a safety ambassador for the team. Proactively coordinate and collaborate with the project management teams to execute, monitor and continually improve safety in construction project. Subject matter expert for training policies, requirements and standards. Ensure the execution of emergency plan, Safety work management plan. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in HSE or engineering, or similar curriculum being in compliance with local legal requirements. Minimum of 8 years of management experience preferably on a leadership level. Competencies Expertise in hazard job site assessment/analysis/solution, risk assessments, incident investigation and root cause analysis. Proficiency in contractor/subcontractor HSE management. Good communication and proactive collaboration skills. Understanding of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards and how to incorporate requirements into business processes and decision making. Good leadership skills in leading the team. Demonstrated ability to establish, implement and manage HSE best practices and programs. Customer focus, effective problem-solving capabilities, strong collaborator and cultural sensitivity skills.
