Provide empowerment and support to students at the University of Sydney Full time, fixed term contract until 31st December 2025 Base Salary between $99,455 - $107,216 p.a. 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Student Life Cluster at the University of Sydney enhances the student experience by providing support networks, social events, and clubs that foster community and personal growth. Their programs and resources help students navigate university life and build lasting connections. As a Student Life Coordinator, you will collaborate with teams across the PVC Student Life Cluster, central units, faculties, and student groups to deliver financial support and wellbeing initiatives. The role involves reviewing student applications, handling sensitive information, and assisting in shaping support strategies based on data-driven insights. Your key responsibilities will be to: coordinate and support student life programs, including orientation, international, transition, and financial Support, ensuring alignment with key strategies and digital delivery contribute to the annual Student Life communications and events plan in line with the PVC Student Life Cluster’s strategic objectives collaborate with managers and stakeholders to implement student life initiatives and effectively communicate key messages develop materials and communications to enhance awareness of student life programs and services provide case management support, referrals, and administrative assistance for student bursaries, loans, and financial aid monitor financial assistance programs, recommend updates, and support the development of new initiatives as needed. About you experience in wellbeing promotion, student support services, academic or career advising ability to coordinate and host large-scale in-person and online events and help with setting up in-person events, such as setting up stalls for Welcome Week, etc strong stakeholder management experience across diverse groups proficiency in complex booking and information systems digital literacy and ability to engage students across multiple communication platforms strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with tact and discretion in handling sensitive student concerns.
