New Forests seeks an energised candidate, excited about the world of AI and IT in the cloud - motivated to drive education and adoption of new & existing cloud technologies.
Reporting into the Director of Business Services, this role will provide frontline IT platform, hardware and software support to employees globally, and work alongside industry experts, leveraging IT service providers to maximise employee efficiency and improve overall IT service operations.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring maximum productivity of global staff in their use of PC's, mobile devices and end-user software
2. Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues, over the phone and in person
3. Providing first level support of other IT services including print, video conferencing, telephony, network & remote access
4. Participating in knowledge sharing and advice to the wider user community
5. Effective engagement with 3rd parties to optimise outcomes
6. Overseeing IT-related processes associated with employee on & off-boarding
7. Contributing to technology-related projects
8. Enhancing cyber security awareness
9. Performing other IT duties as directed
Qualifications, Experience and Strengths
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic person with excellent verbal and written communication skills who is able to deliver great customer service with an attitude of willing to please and succeed. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong organisational skills and attention to detail, the ability to work alone on tasks in a proactive manner and be excited by technological change, and willingness to learn new technologies.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications, experience, and strengths:
1. Relevant qualifications in Information Technology or related field
2. Previous experience working with a variety of IT hardware and software, particularly the Microsoft Office suite and 365
3. Demonstrated problem solving & analytical skills
4. Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint & Teams, Microsoft Azure & Active Directory
5. Understanding of network & virtual server environments, and cyber-security threats & preventative measures
6. Previous experience providing remote technical support and working as part of a helpdesk will be highly regarded
