About the role:
Operating within Midwifery (Blacktown), as a senior academic in Midwifery, you'll provide leadership and make outstanding and original contributions to learning and teaching, scholarship and research in the discipline. At Senior Lecturer level, this will involve undertaking course coordination responsibilities and/or other leadership portfolios as required, while the Associate Professor will make outstanding contributions to the governance of academic programs and build relationships with external organisations and communities.
The Associate Professor will also contribute to the quality improvement of midwifery programs, mentorship of staff in the learning, teaching and research activity of the school and in the development, implementation and accreditation of midwifery curricula. The Senior Lecturer will develop and deliver lecture, tutorial and laboratory classes and contribute to the academic and administrative functions of the school.

What we offer:

* Total remuneration valued to $168,595 - $183,037 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $142,625 - $154,969 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level C), OR $191,064 - $210,313 (pro rata) pa, including salary component $161,830 - $178,282 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level D), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. The level of appointment will be determined based on the level of experience, skills and capability of the successful candidate. A 3% salary increase will be effective from the beginning of the first full pay period commencing on or after 1st January 2025.
* 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
* Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
