The Department of Land, Planning and the Environment seeks experienced professionals in environmental management and regulation to join our team.

As a Senior Environment Officer, you will use your knowledge of environmental science, management, and regulation to administer the NT's environmental legislation effectively.
You will assess, approve, and license activities that may impact the environment, undertake compliance and enforcement action, and provide specialist advice to junior officers.
To succeed in this role, you require proven experience in environmental science, management, auditing, and/or regulation, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects, negotiate, problem-solve, work independently, and mentor junior staff.
