About the role
You will be responsible for producing a range of educational resources for use in flexible, online and face-to-face programs including illustrations, diagrams, print ready material, and digital media products. In addition, you will entail managing the planning, scoping, resourcing and development of resource development tasks and projects within the Training and Content team.
You will:
1. Provide expert advice and consultation on accessible, sustainable, and educationally effective use of resources.
2. Provide support and advice to staff commissioning substantial innovative digital learning content to ensure projects are well conceived and production ready.
3. Coordinate and develop a diverse range of high-quality educational resources.
4. Utilise contemporary graphic design tools and principles to create effective, dynamic content that enriches learning and enhances course content.
5. Ensure that student retention is a key consideration when producing and promoting the use of digital content across the university.
About you
Reporting to Manager, Training and Content you will work with and influence staff across the university to manage major digital productions, lead sustainable university practice and assist in the service delivery of rich, engaging media with strong client focus.
You will possess:
1. A strong creative aptitude, multi-disciplinary technical skill sets and deep theoretical and practical understanding of the processes required to create advanced digital resources.
2. Demonstrated experience in using a range of Adobe software applications to produce illustrations, diagrams, print ready material, multimedia objects and digital media products.
3. Demonstrated strategic understanding of the role of digital content in learning and teaching for the higher education and TAFE sectors.
4. Demonstrated experience in identifying, promoting and producing digital learning content.
