About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Chef to join us. We are Warrnambool’s only Roadhouse. As a Chef, you will be running our commercial kitchen. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of our kitchen operation, from menu development and preparation to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will lead the kitchen team, ensuring smooth service throughout the day and night.
Responsibilities:
1. Create and prepare delicious food using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
2. Ensure all dishes meet our high standards for quality and presentation.
3. Manage and maintain kitchen inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
4. Oversee food preparation, adhering to food safety regulations.
5. Lead and train the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
6. Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
7. Liaise with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Experience: 1 year working as a Chef in a similar environment.
Qualification: Cert3, Cert 4 in Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality.
