Application Design Engineer
Sydney (Hybrid Work Environment)
Must have full working rights in AU to be considered for this role
Responsibilities:
* Build sales plan and execute in partnership with sales team
* Act as the technical interface between sales and sales support, Line of Business and customers in line with the regional business strategy
* Identify opportunities in co-operation with sales team
* Assist sales with a higher level of expertise in front of selected customers
* Work as part of the GCP RAC team, attend team meetings, 1 to 1 sessions with manager and project sales updates Deliver project solutions to achieve desired outcomes
* Manage solutions to ensure margin and profitability is maintained
* Ensure compliance to the Schneider Electric Customer Project Process
* Manage Risk and opportunity across all projects
Ideal Candidate
* 5 years' experience as an Application Engineer/Solution architect within in Data Center Industry including but not limited to design, calculation and strong technical knowledge of Power Systems Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), and Electrical installations.
* Leading initiatives to develop innovative UPS/Batteries solutions, power distribution, monitoring and DCIM to meet evolving client needs.
* Experience in preparing costing, BOM, proposals, ensuring that technical specifications align with client requirements and expectations.
