Job Family: Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Position: Head of Construction HSE APAC Location: Melbourne About the Role: Vestas is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Construction HSE APAC to join our specialized team. The HSE department aims to support the business by providing a HSE System to understand their HSE risk profile, identify legislative HSE requirements, and develop, implement, monitor, and improve plans and controls for effective HSE management. Responsibilities: Demonstrate visible HSE Leadership and support the APAC Construction business. Lead a team of regionally-based HSE Managers to support the delivery of Construction contracts. Manage HSE risk and improve Safety Culture. Develop and maintain local construction HSE Management Systems. Deliver targeted injury reduction programs. Support the delivery of global and regional tactical plan initiatives. Assist in HSEMS Implementation, Assurance, Monitoring, and Incident Management. Qualifications: Diploma WHS/OHS/E or higher. 10+ years in a relevant technical/operational background. Experience across Asia Pacific preferred; ANZ Construction experience is a must. Lead Auditor and TapRoot or ICAM Investigation Lead certification. Strong stakeholder management skills. Above medium level Microsoft Office skills, notably Excel.
