Essential Qualifications & Licences:
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent/higher qualification as recognized by ACECQA).
* A current and valid Working with Children's Check.
* First Aid certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
* Current & valid Australian Work Rights.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality education and outcomes.
* Previous experience as a Lead Educator/Room Leader required (1+ years' experience minimum)
* Proven leadership skills in guiding and mentoring educators in early childhood settings.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with children, families, colleagues, and management.
* Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating tailored educational programs.
* Ability to foster positive, collaborative relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Previous experience as a Lead Educator or Room Leader, with the ability to support children with diverse needs.
* Proficient in using software for documentation, family communication, and educational planning.
