Role and Responsibilities:
The classroom teacher focuses on planning, preparation, and teaching programs to achieve specific student outcomes. They engage in critical reflection and inquiry to improve their knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities may include direct teaching, contributing to curriculum development, participating in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps, and excursions, and undertaking non-teaching supervisory duties.
Who May Apply:
Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, qualified to teach in the specified curriculum area(s), and with demonstrated experience in the relevant subject area.
