The Opportunity We are seeking a Clinical Midwifery Educator to join our Delivery Unit at Kareena Private Hospital! In this role you will be facilitating and effectively managing clinical education and competency programs for our Maternity Team. The role encompasses planning, implementing, and evaluating practices, processes and services related to the clinical education of our team within the unit. This role also requires working with and supporting management in achieving excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements. Working clinically alongside students, new staff and those needing educational support.
Skills And Experience To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong specialist clinical skillset in Midwifery and a strong capacity for training and education of clinical team members. You will bring a passion for high quality care and the ability to inspire and develop that passion and skill in your team members.
You will also demonstrate:
Skilled Registered Midwifery with AHPRA Minimum of 5 years clinical experience within a maternity environment Comprehensive specialty knowledge Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment (or working towards) Post-Graduate Qualifications in Midwifery (or working towards) Passion to improve all aspects of the woman's journey through the education of staff.
