If you have a background in overseas projects, that’s a plus!This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a pivotal role in our continued success across the globe.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Support Manager to join our growing international planning and development team. Reporting to the Operational Resources Manager, this is a varied and busy role supporting critical developments in our overseas operations. You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a collaborative mindset and enjoy working with teams. This is a permanent position based within our Coffs Harbour, NSW office.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited toSupporting the establishment of new farms and new regions including planning, scoping, data analysis, technical design and financial management.Providing project management support to international teams from scoping, capex preparation, execution through to post project evaluation.Supporting the management of existing farms through defining and evaluating maintenance programs, reviewing infrastructure performance, providing operational support (structures, irrigation, equipment, water quality management).Maintaining a strategic overview to support activities in regions including water resource use and development planning.Promoting training to international teams to build expertise in operations, planning and project management.All about youTo be successful in this role, you will have:A tertiary level qualification in a STEM discipline, or relevant equivalent.Demonstrable experience in project management and/or contract administration including budget management.Demonstrable experience in construction or planning in relevant areas (e.g., agricultural developments, civil projects, water supply, groundwater investigations; electrical/refrigeration, irrigation, roads, earthworks, commercial infrastructure).Good problem-solving skills and ability to analyse data from a variety of perspectives.The ability to work in a team as well as alone, including in foreign countries.The ability to work with local people in overseas regions.Good written and spoken communication skills.Excellent computer skills including advanced spreadsheet/Excel.Computer skills such as modelling, programming, technical drawing and GIS would be beneficial.This role involves extensive travel overseas, usually for 2 or 3 weeks at a time, to regions of Morocco, China, India and Asia.
