Job Title: Payroll Officer - Contract RoleWe are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a 6–7-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all employee pays are processed nationally on time, accurately and in compliance with the Award/Agreement for each state.Key Responsibilities:End-to-end weekly payroll processingManage general queries and support the teamCollaborate with HR and finance teams to address employee payroll inquiries and provide supportLiaise with key stakeholders to ensure a seamless pay runStay updated with payroll regulations and compliance requirements to ensure accurate payroll administrationAssist in preparing payroll reports and contribute to process improvements for increased efficiencyMaintain confidentiality and ensure data security in all payroll-related activitiesSupport payroll related projects from a national perspective where requiredAbout You:To be successful in this role, you will require:Previous experience in a similar role within a high volume, multi-site environmentA strong emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy in your workBasic knowledge of payroll processes, legislation and complianceProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in ExcelStrong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholdersAdaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environmentWhat We Offer:This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Australia's most successful and leading food companies.
