What you'll be doing We are looking for a passionate Oral Health Practitioner to deliver high-quality general oral health care and education to eligible patients within the Western Sydney Local Health District. This role focuses on promoting oral health and engaging in population health initiatives. In this role you will be responsible for: Providing general oral health care to diverse patient groups. Conducting oral health education sessions for patients and communities. Engaging in oral health promotion activities across facilities. Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. Participating in population health initiatives to enhance community well-being. Essential Criteria Registration: Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as an Oral Health Therapist or both the registrations of Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist. Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with a range of individuals including the general public. A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventative / population health approach to patient care. A demonstrated ability to work within a large team and independently.
