About the Role The Community Based Venue (CBV) Manager is required to manage the facility, staff and to allocate infrastructure and resources for hearing and customer service operations at CBV's and allocated regions. The role will require you to: provide management support, training and professional development of Hearing and Service Support Officers roster resources to CBV tasks including hearing management, counter services and administrative duties allocate venue infrastructure such as hearing rooms, member offices, car parks and Registry spaces resource hearings at Magistrates' Court of Victoria or other venues allocated to CBV collaborate with other CBV managers and the Regional Service and Support Manager to achieve a unified and coordinated approach to service delivery build and maintain relationships with key VCAT internal and external stakeholders collect, analyse and present data reports to their manager and update service data statistics spreadsheets assist users with counter service enquiries, make referrals and maintain case management systems manage hearings, including directing parties, supporting Members, recording sessions, monitoring communications for urgent updates and coordinating interpreter and security support resource and facilitate dispute resolution between parties in line with early resolution operating models report all facility issues or maintenance, coordinating on site trades, providing access and report job progress to central operations coordinate emergency management functions and training to ensure all first aid qualifications are up to date conduct site inductions for new members and staff exercise delegated functions subject to the direction of the Principal Registrar. About You As a preferred candidate, you will be able to demonstrate: experience in leadership and people management within a front-line service delivery environment ability to apply and provide advice on complex legislations relating to jurisdictions of VCAT experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives ability to analyse situations and take consiered remedial action to address operational issues experience building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and communications Ideally, you will have demonstrated management experience within a court or tribunal environment, which is highly desirable. A tertiary quaification in a relevant field is highly desirable.
