Senior Contracts Administrator (CMP-CUF Project)Our Client:Our client is a key player in regional infrastructure development, responsible for managing and facilitating large-scale projects to enhance essential facilities and promote sustainable growth.The Opportunity:As the Senior Contracts Administrator/Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing contractor engagement and administrative functions for a significant infrastructure relocation project. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management, ensuring all contractor activities align with project goals, legal standards, and regulatory requirements.About the Role:As the primary on-site representative, you will lead the coordination and administration of all contractor activities, ensuring operational excellence across safety, quality, schedule and budget benchmarks. Working closely with contractors and project stakeholders, you will be instrumental in resolving challenges, driving compliance and achieving project objectives.Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Oversee and monitor daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.Administer contracts for infrastructure relocation, ensuring full compliance with terms and conditions.Review and approve key project deliverables, including progress reports, change orders, and payment requests.Organise and lead site meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and align on solutions.Identify and resolve on-site conflicts, collaborating with contractors to deliver project outcomes efficiently.Provide guidance to contractors on critical decisions and ensure alignment with project objectives.Uphold safety protocols in line with the Safety Management Framework, ensuring a safe working environment for all.Minimise environmental impact by adhering to the Environmental Management Framework and reporting risks proactively.Your Skills & Experience:Proven experience in contract administration and/or project management within the infrastructure or construction sectors.Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and contractual frameworks.Exceptional skills in managing contracts, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities to address onsite challenges.Commitment to maintaining a safe, environmentally responsible workplace.Relevant qualifications in Contract Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.The Offer:Our client offers a competitive salary and a dynamic work environment where you’ll play a critical role in a landmark project.
