Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team for the implementation of projects within the EPC business unit.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing design plans, detailed drawings, and technical interface on projects.
* Responsible for the detailed design of all mechanical systems and subsystems.
* Preparation of general arrangement, detail, isometric, and P&ID drawings, and material lists.
* Prepare designs and drawings covering mechanical, civil, and structural disciplines.
The Mechanical Design Drafter will communicate with internal employees, customers, and consulting engineers to carry out design works.
They will also provide mechanical design support to the Site Manager for installation.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* Demonstrated industry experience with sound knowledge of industrial turnkey projects.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Plant 3D or similar high-end database programs.
* Navisworks Simulate and Manage.
* Familiarity with piping, structural steel, and P&ID drawings.
* All levels of experience, junior to senior.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Initiative and problem-solving ability.
* Attention to detail, document control, and application of processes.
We require an SA Drivers License.
