ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Print, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring our warehouse and workshop operations run smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you'll be responsible for:
1. Taking charge of inventory management, from handling deliveries to ensuring our products are configured correctly and shipped on time to our valued customers.
2. Keeping a close eye on inventory levels, using advanced software to ensure everything is where it should be.
3. Handling of picking, packing, and dispatching of spare parts and consumables.
4. Ensuring all print equipment is unpacked, set up, and ready to go, all within our SLA timeframes.
5. Assisting with workshop repairs of multifunction devices and management of e-waste.
6. Accurately logging labour time and updating job statuses in the JIM2 ERP system, so everything runs like clockwork.
7. Making sure we’re utilising our space to its full potential.
8. Upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.
9. Conducting regular audits to make sure our inventory is accurate, and our spare parts are always accounted for.
ABOUT YOU
1. Previous experience in warehousing or logistics.
2. A current unrestricted Car/Class C driver's license.
3. Ability to use inventory management software or systems.
4. Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues effectively. On-the-job training will also be provided.
5. Physically fit with the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and perform tasks that may require bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
6. Technical certifications or relevant vocational training in electronics, computer systems, or related fields would be highly regarded but not essential.
As part of the recruitment process, pre-employment checks including a functional assessment will be conducted in line with physical requirements of the position as well as a police check.
