Ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel is essential for an exceptional guest experience. As a valuable member of our electrical team, your role will involve maintaining a polished and efficient environment. Your responsibilities include overseeing and servicing high voltage emergency diesel power generators, troubleshooting and repairing field devices associated with the Building Management System (BMS), and managing all electrical operations to minimize disruptions in resort activities. Tasks encompass maintenance and repair of electrical appliances, equipment, distribution boards, and related components. A little taste of your day-to-day - Review the BMS daily to ensure system functionality and alarms are in good working order - Assist with repairs to the resort infrastructure including but not limited to the electrical and plumbing networks - Open and close valves and HV switches in sequence to start or shut down auxiliary units. - Clean, Lubricate or maintain equipment such as generators, pumps or compressor to prevent failure or deterioration - Read charts, meters, and gauges to monitor voltage and electricity flows. - Examine and test electrical power distribution machinery and equipment, using testing devices both high voltage and low voltage. - Record and compile operational data by completing and maintaining forms, logs and/or reports. - Conduct minor repairs on high voltage generators.
