About the role:
The Lecturer in Education Research Methodologies will lead unit teaching teams in undergraduate (UG) and/or postgraduate (PG) programs to achieve unit learning outcomes and enhance the student experience. This position involves initiating and conducting high impact research, scholarship and creative activities that generate high impact outputs within their discipline area. The Lecturer may also lead research activities and is expected to collaborate to develop novel research outcomes.
As a Lecturer in Education Research Methodologies, you will:
* Lead unit teaching teams and collaborate with other unit teaching teams to develop effective unit curricula and learning resources.
* Help integrate industry, clinical and/or research practices into student learning experiences.
* Adopt innovation in unit level curriculum design and deliver learner-centric, research-informed teaching practices.
* Support applications for research and creative activities, including applications for external competitive funding.
* Build a national reputation, based on a growing, focused body of work recognised for quality, excellence and impact.
To be successful, you’ll have:
* PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience.
* Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs.
* Emerging reputation in research and scholarship through publications and/or success in obtaining external research funding.
* Ability to contribute to communities through research.
* Capacity to contribute to leadership of research and administration.
