Your day in the life of a Home Product, Product Manager, Fixed at Optus
You will be at the forefront of driving innovation in the telecommunications industry. Your role is pivotal in evolving our home product portfolio, helping to drive improved CX, P&L performance and in ensuring Optus remains a market leader.
You will lead the end-to-end product management for specific Optus-branded consumer and SMB fixed nbn products and will also help to plan and deliver development for other products including Optus email and Optus Fixed and Entertainment content bundles.
Your focus will be on helping the product team to deliver outstanding CX and P&L performance for our portfolio of fixed internet services, aligning with our ambitious annual operating plan. You will provide strategic thought leadership, crafting product designs and propositions that breathe life into the Optus brand. You will orchestrate and help to drive planning and implementation of changes to Optus's home fixed products within your remit.
Working closely with Marketing, Sales, and Network you will improve customer experience and boost margins.
Engaging directly with our external partners like nbn, you will represent Optus, providing valuable feedback and developing internal plans that align with NBN's roadmap. Your efforts will ensure Optus maintains its competitive edge in the market.
Your skills to pay the bills
Proven experience in product management within the telecommunications or technology sectors, showcasing your outstanding leadership, technical knowledge and collaboration skills.
Proficient analytical skills to assess P&L performance, devise effective strategies, and aid in meeting revenue objectives.
Initiative ownership, acting as an enterprise thought leader to identify opportunities, challenges and to drive activity and outcomes.
Expertise in orchestrating activity across cross-functional teams, ensuring flawless execution of key initiatives within our product roadmap and encouraging a world-class customer experience.
Ability to engage with external partners, demonstrating effective communication and negotiation skills to represent Optus' interests.
