We take great care to provide safe, and competitive seaport services to efficiently facilitate imports and exports through our Queensland ports.North Queensland Bulk Ports (NQBP) is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join our multi-skilled team in Mackay. This role will give the right person the opportunity to grow the planning function of the Maintenance team whilst supporting our Asset Management function of the business.Reporting to the Programming and Reliability Manager, the main responsibility of this role is ensuring the coordination of NQBP’s planned preventative and breakdown/priority maintenance and in consultation with all necessary stakeholders as part of the work order management process. This includes ensuring ongoing engagement with works delivery Superintendent and Asset management professionals to best manage NQBP’s resource delivery.To be successful in this role, you will need:Minimum of three years as a Planner/Scheduler with proven experience with associated software to complete these activities (Technology One, SAP, MEX, etc)Proven experience with progress tracking and measurement of multiple work crews and resources.Experience in Asset Management including life cycle management.Knowledge of infrastructure construction projects and engineering supervision (ideally in marine environment).A detailed understanding of sequencing work on a brown field facility.Demonstrated use of leadership, innovation and analytical skills.Work effectively with minimal supervision, controlling workflow, and organising work tasks to meet deadlines.Confidentially, consulting and negotiating skills.The applicant will be required to hold a current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or the ability to obtain an MSIC within three months of commencing employment.Benefits of working for NQBP:Flexible ways of Working - we're committed to developing working practices that support flexibility in terms of where, when and how we work: including the option to work a 9 Day fortnight.Career - We know that your experience is unique – and your career should be too.
