The Position
:
1. Full time position
2. 9am – 6pm Monday to Thursday, with a half day Friday
3. Hands on role for a very organised Chef Manager collaborating with your team to deliver a premium experience across daily mess meals and events
4. Maintain all catering and stock controls, OH&S compliance, and HACCP with a strong focus on waste reduction.
5. Forecasting food requirements, ordering and stock control
6. Drive exceptional food safety and quality with a focus on allergen and dietary requirements
7. High level knowledge and experience of operational and financial performances of the defence business
The Person:
8. Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery
9. 3+ years displayed experience as a head chef in similar venues.
10. Comfortable with people management, training and developing.
11. High level knowledge in HACCP, allergen management and food safety.
12. Proven team leader with high level organisational skills who can work autonomously, with initiative and under pressure.
