Aurora Dairies are currently seeking a Senior Farm Hand (or Farm Hand) for a dairy farm in Elizabeth Town, Tasmania, located 20 minutes from Deloraine.
This farm is approximately 650ha with 315ha under 6 centre pivot irrigation systems peaking at 1350 cows, through an 54 bail rotary shed with ACR's, auto teat spray and auto drafting with a Delpro computer system.
This farm is 100% Spring calving beginning in mid-July.
The herd is mixed size with both small & large frame cows.
We run a two herd system with an easy entry & exit system and the farm is predominantly pasture based with pellets fed in the dairy.
This farm has close proximity to Devonport and Launceston which are the major shopping towns and 10 minutes from Deloraine which has cafes and restaurants.
