* 12 months Fixed Term contract, 0.5FTE (19 hours a week) with competitive remuneration and benefits

This role will act as the link from the third party Designated Point of Contact (DPOC) team to the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) business to facilitate the provision of DPOC services that meet the requirements set out in the Global DPOC SOPs.
The role may also support other functions within the Medical Affairs Department such as the Medical Projects Team, when workload requires additional support.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
DPOC support
o Provide advice and support to the DPOC team to answer Medical Information enquiries where the topics relate to ANZ specific situations e.g. pharmaceutical funding
o Partner with local and regional key stakeholders, including regional Medical Information, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Marketing, Manufacturing and Legal / Compliance to ensure an effective and efficient end-to-end process for managing medical enquiries, product safety reports and quality reports
o Provide communication / coordination for any local activities that may impact daily operation of DPOC (e.g., product discontinuation / potential stock-out, new launch – product / indication / marketing program etc.)
o Draft Frequently Asked Questions documents and Job Aids and maintain relevant documents for the utilization of the DPOC team
o Attend fortnightly meetings to provide advice and guidance to the DPOC team to ensure compliant execution of Global DPOC Standard Operating Procedures and associated Reference Documents
o Attend monthly meetings to provide local perspective to the Operations Lead and Medical Director on that month’s enquiries
o Work with the Associate Director, Regional Medical to provide feedback and suggestions to the DPOC team to ensure continued effectiveness and opportunities for improvement
o Follow robust governance to ensure DPOC is aligned with applicable company policies and procedures
o Complete all required training processes and system trainings for DPOC
o Respond and comply with any audits, or assessments of the DPOC processes, working closely with DPOC and Pharmacovigilance on the control plan and any audits of the process
o Escalate any issues to the Operations Lead as appropriate
Other GMSA support
o Provide support to the Medical Projects for Patient Access Programs if required by business needs
What You Must Have
o Tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy
o Experience within, and understanding of the Australian / New Zealand healthcare environment including understanding of the PBS and Pharmac funding models
Preferred
o Prior experience in pharmaceutical industry
o Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
o Critical thinking skills
o Ability to be flexible in an ever-changing environment
