This role would be perfect for you!I-MED Radiology has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the busy team in our Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) clinic located in Traralgon. You will primarily be working at the LRH but some movements to other sites as required.This role is part-time nurse, working 2-3 days a fortnight on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, and would suit an experienced nurse looking to work in an interventional clinic.Reporting to the Area Nurse Coordinator and working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing support and recovery services to the clinic. Additional training is available for the right candidate.Key accountabilities include:Assist the Radiologist for interventional procedures, including gaining informed consent and medical history assessment, monitoring baseline observations, and recovering patients post-procedure.Interventional Procedures Include: Biopsies, Lumbar Punctures, Drainages, and Pain Management Injections.Working collaboratively with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, technical and administrative staff, and managers.Key selection criteria:Full AHPRA Registration as a Registered NurseProven acute nursing experienceDemonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously within a multidisciplinary teamStrong interpersonal and communication skillsWell-developed time management and organizational skillsAbility to work a flexible roster.Desirable but not essential:Previous Experience in Radiology/Surgical/Procedural NursingAnaesthetic Experience.How do you apply?If this sounds like you, please click the apply link and ensure you attach an up-to-date resume and confirm your preferred work type as either full-time or part-time.Due to training requirements and on-the-job support, and to ensure you have enough contact time to master your role, we prefer that you have no planned extended leave for the first 3 months in the role.To apply you must have unlimited, full permanent working rights in Australia.
