My client (NFP) operates as a sustainable education service provider working collaboratively in the interests of all Australian education jurisdictions to provide technology-based services for education.
They provide cost-efficient products and services that can be adapted in response to emerging technologies and changing needs of the education and training sector.
They seek a Solutions Architect, to lead and support ICT activities to develop and manage various solutions, including projects, systems, shared infrastructure, and application services.
Key Responsibilities Develop technical roadmaps for cloud implementations and on-premises upgrades, including cost-benefit analysis and proof of concept work.
Work with cloud hosting models and assist business and technical users in cloud transformation.
Design and implement secure IAM solutions using Azure Active Directory/Entra, incorporating RBAC, MFA, and SSO protocols such as CAS, SAML, and OAuth.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate business requirements into effective Azure-based, Office, or Hybrid (VMware) solutions.
Design solutions for Autopilot, Intune, and Microsoft Defender within the Office suite, ensuring integration, security, and compliance.
Create comprehensive solutions encompassing infrastructure, applications, security, scalability, and performance using Azure, Office, and Hybrid (VMware) services.
Develop architectural diagrams, documentation, and presentations to communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
Assist in managing VMware data centre technologies and hybrid cloud domains with the Operations Team.
Lead the design and implementation of data centre and cloud projects.
Desirable Skills Experience implementing DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and other CI/CD tools for automating infrastructure provisioning.
Experience with Single Sign-On protocols like CAS, SAML, and OAuth.
Experience with security frameworks like ISO and conducting security, performance, and availability test planning and execution.
Knowledge of containerization and open-source products.
Relevant qualifications, including security architecture (e.g., SABSA) and enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF).
