This role is part of Fugro's Marine Geoconsulting team of experts, who provide consultancy services to our clients within the fields of geology, geoscience, geophysics, and geotechnical engineering.

The Opportunity We are looking for a Geologist / Geoscientist, who is responsible for analyzing and interpreting high-quality offshore geo-data to provide accurate and customized advice to clients on their individual project needs.
Your day-to-day duties and focus will include: Perform technical duties related to geology or engineering geology with support from a technical authority Assisting in the preparation of ground and geological models, working on geohazard analyses and compiling technical reports to be reviewed and approved by a Technical Authority Utilize geological software and tools to interpret data and assess site geology and potential geological hazards for project sites Preparing presentations and workshops of the work performed informing clients of the outcomes and likely next steps in their offshore project developments in both the growing offshore renewables and oil and gas sectors The ability and willingness to perform fieldwork (typically 60 days per year) and travel if required About You Your success in securing this role will require: Preferably 1-2 years prior experience in a similar role within the offshore industry Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in geology / engineering geology / geoscience / geophysics or a related discipline Be creative and willing to consider new approaches to solving problems Enjoy a challenge, learning new skills, and be prepared to go the extra-mile to meet our clients' expectations Practical offshore site investigation experience will be an advantage as would having an interest in working offshore Our Values https://www.fugro.com/about-fugro/group-overview/our-values We strive to foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable to be themselves; all voices heard, all cultures respected.
