We are working with a leading engineering consultancy that is supporting a major chemical processing company on a key project in Perth. They are looking for a Construction Coordinator to assist with project execution, ensuring construction readiness, efficiency, and compliance across project activities. This role offers a 6-month contract, with an initial 3 months in the office before a potential transition to site.About the RoleDevelop work scopes, work packs, permit-to-work documentation, and procedures to optimize team performance.Review piping designs to ensure constructability and provide input as needed.Conduct constructability reviews and HAZIDs to support safe and efficient project execution.Ensure all materials, tools, and consumables are identified and ready for project activities.Coordinate resource allocation in line with project schedules.Contribute to schedule planning and ensure realistic execution timelines.Assist with manning requirements and recruitment of personnel.Provide leadership and guidance to the project team.Uphold QHSE standards to ensure a strong safety culture.Lead pre-start meetings and toolbox talks to maintain clear communication.Liaise with client representatives to schedule and coordinate work.Oversee daily activity planning to align with project schedules.Ensure compliance with SIMOPs requirements.What We’re Looking ForTrade-qualified background with 10+ years experience in mechanical/piping fitting.Strong understanding of construction processes and project execution.Experience in construction work preparation within an engineering environment.Prior experience in maintenance, brownfields construction, and commissioning.Familiarity with major oil and gas/chemicals project operations.Excellent coordination and communication skills with the ability to influence and lead teams.What’s on Offer6-month contract with potential for extension.Office-based for 3 months, with a likely transition to site-based work.Work with a leading engineering consultancy on a major energy project.Competitive rates (TBC).TSS Group is a specialist consultancy supporting engineering firms and operators across Western Australia’s resources sector.
